Torrance is an LA county city located in the South Bay region. Surrounded by Redondo Beach, Carson, Gardena, Lomita and Rolling Hills, Torrance is known for it’s beach city-like atmosphere and climate, as well as for an active night life, shopping attractions and safe neighborhoods. Other nearby cities include Long Beach and Los Angeles City itself. It’s also fairly close to LAX (Los Angeles Airport).

Geography

Torrance (33.834815, −118.341330) is considered to be a coastal community. It contains one of the few urban wetlands.

Martial Arts

Torrance is also a hotbed for martial artists. Los Angeles in general attracts people from allover the world. Because of this, many martial artists from around the world find themselves attracted to LA, the South Bay in general.
